The YWCA of Malawi deeply mourns the heartbreaking loss of Victoria Nnensa Bobe, a kind and remarkable young woman whose life touched many within our community. Victoria served with dedication, humility, and a warm spirit that drew people in and made them feel valued. Her life reflected strength, compassion, and a quiet determination to uplift others.

Victoria carried a light that brightened every space she entered. She had a gift for seeing the best in others and offering support even in the most challenging moments. Her commitment to service strengthened our programmes, encouraged her peers, and inspired young girls who looked up to her as a model of grace and perseverance.

Those who worked closely with her remember her gentle presence, her steady work ethic, and her devotion to the mission of empowering women and girls across Malawi. She believed in creating spaces where girls could thrive, learn, and grow into confident leaders. Victoria lived out this belief with sincerity and joy.

Her passing leaves a deep void in the YWCA family and beyond. Yet her influence remains with us in the lives she touched and the hope she shared. We honour her memory with gratitude for the time we were blessed to walk alongside her.

Our thoughts and prayers are with her family, friends, and all who loved her. May her soul rest in peace, and may her legacy continue to inspire acts of love, service, and compassion within our organisation and the broader community.
